Monthly or annual contracts?
The Cloud Application Platform is provided as part of a monthly subscription that renews automatically and is billed to your credit card. We do not lock you into a long-term commitment (but most of our customers stay with us for years!).
Is your platform covered by cyber liability insurance?
Yes. However, it does not cover apps deployed by customers. We recommend all customers purchase a policy that covers breaches and errors/omissions through a reputable broker. We can provide you with referrals too.
Is your platform geographically redundant?
Customers can choose from deployments in Oregon ("us-west-2") or Ohio ("us-east-2"). Within each region, multiple data centers can be leveraged to provide redundancy as part of a high availability configuration. Customers can also subscribe to multi-region redundancy features such as data replication and standby servers.
Can I sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Healthcare Blocks?
Yes! We have two different versions, depending on your relationship to us, that you can preview (PDF): covered entity or business associate. An e-signable version will be sent to you upon request.
